I have loved books for as long as I can remember.  I like to adopt books from second hand stores and op shops.  My favourite books are school stories and horse stories but I am rather fond of finding long forgotten books to add to my ever growing book family.  I often visit the local Vinnie’s store to check the youth fiction and I’ve found many of my old favourites there.  I also have several online stores as well as ebay where I have found great bargains.

I have a love of reading children’s books in any format from the 1800’s through to the present and looking how society and children’s literature has changed.  I am the sort of reader who has emotional attachments towards characters and books.  I feel a strong sense of joy when I can talk about books I’ve read and I enjoy introducing people to books that I think they will like. 

My blog has been set up so I can talk about books I love and books I have come across in various locations.  All opinions are my own as a book lover and blogger.   
 I am currently collecting the books of several large series.  It is taking a long time but I enjoy the challenge of tracking these books down and getting to read them and finally getting to add them to my book cupboard.
